Air fare can often be one of the most UN fair things you’ll ever buy. One of the most wildly swinging price variables of any other industry, booking the best deal on your air fare can come down to the time in which you do it. Often times you can score some great last minute air fare deals; others you’ll pay multiple times the cost the nearer you get. With some sites, you can get quoted one fare and you go back the same day and it’s swung around to such a degree that you’re not even sure if it’s worth it. But never fear! There is cheap air fare out there to be had; this is often just par for the course in the airline industry. It’s like “Pop! Goes Cheap Airfare!” – it’s out there for the taking if you can just act fast enough, look in the right spots and not ask questions until you’ve touched down (even then, don’t wreck a good thing!)
Cheap air fare is one of those ever illusive things that reveal themselves all that much more the harder you look. If you’ve got your eye on cheap international airfare you should really checkout the international travel sites from carriers who do the most business with your country of origin. They that have the most flights coming and going also have the most vacant seats; it’s not even a theory; it’s a proven fact. Simple statistics will show you that there is not a statistician who could prove otherwise. Because, as they say in the business world, empty planes sink balance sheets. So if another airline had lesser seats they’d either stop flying the route or they’d stop flying altogether. So cheap air fare can be had. If you’re looking for student air fare there many great avenues to look towards. Most all carriers, towards the season when students are traveling will up their flight schedule to accommodate them and buffer the rate to earn their loyalty upon graduation. Cheap international air fare is something that’s a little more difficult to come by and may take a bit more work on the upfront, but you’ll enjoy your trip much more. As I said, it’s best to go with carriers that offer the most flights; I spoke with a gent from the UK who was in New York a couple of weeks ago. When I asked him about his planning, he said he didn’t but call it up on the internet and made the reservations a couple days prior. He says that’s when he can get the best deal. So it’s all a matter of where you are and what you’ve got going. I asked if he took holiday often, he told me that Europeans will often just hop over to Italy or Spain because every where’s so close. A luxury we here in the states are sadly lacking. |
