Whoever said “travel ain’t cheap” certainly hasn’t been on the World Wide Web in a while. With more people going more places more of the time and many of these destinations getting more and more exotic, people are flocking to cheap travel in droves. And whether it’s for vacation or business; in times of crisis or times of joy, the cheap travel train keeps on rolling; soon to hit an area near you!

If you’re looking online there are a number of websites that offer cheap travel packages. You can book your flight, rental car on arrival, hotel, you can even arrange pick up and drop off at the airport and book local activities such as sightseeing, dinner reservations, tickets to shows or events, all in one singular place as many more of the advanced websites are partnering with local businesses and entertainment partners to offer their customers true one stop shopping.

If you’re on the cheap travel websites and you’re looking for a deal, try to travel on an ‘off day’ like Sunday night, for instance. Or if you’re going to a big city, try flying into a less busy adjacent airport. Whenever I visit Los Angeles, rather than deal with the mess of LAX and the complications that go along with the sheer volume of incoming and outgoing flights, why not check into Long Beach? I’ve been to LA numerous times and each flight in and each flight out has been via Long Beach. Also if you’re in New York, there are travel deals anywhere, but I’ll tell you, you want to fly into Kennedy! If there’s any way to arrange it, make it a flight to or from Kennedy! LaGuardia is totally ridiculous and will add not minutes but hours to your trip! Or, so that’s been my travel experience.

Cheap student travel is also available for you students out there. You can often book student travel from links straight off your college homepage. Make sure they’re legit though; even if you need to deal directly with the airline or call them (student deals aren’t always advertised on the sites) it’s a better idea than dealing with a bogus link to a bogus site.

Cheap travel tickets are always available if you know the right place to look for them. Travel is not cheap. But if you’re savvy in your dealings with the online resources we have available to us these days, then you should be able to score the travel deal of a lifetime!
